Screen filters seperate fine particles like sand from your drinking water in order to give you water that is both cleaner and better tasting. The polyester screen in this sediment filter is both cleanable and durable, leading to a longer life.
This water filter cartridge is recommended for well water and is ideal for heavy sediment applications. This filter can fit into several housings, including the OB1, OB5, R12, U25, and U30. The RS19-SS6-05 can filter up 150 microns allowing you to screen against particulates in your home.
