Keep your purification system purring with the Lennox X8349 MERV 10 Filter Maintenance Kit. The filter maintenance kit includes one MERV 10 filter (X6664), one newly designed catalyst insert (75X73), and four UV bulbs (X8149). The MERV 10, 4-inch pleated filter removes small breathable particles as tiny as one micron. This furnace filter also reduces odors and destroys 50% of chemicals.

The newly designed metal insert (75X73) is now more compact, as Lennox has reduced the thickness to 1-inch, instead of the standard 2-inch. Another redesigned feature is the corrugated honeycomb surface, which is coated with a catalyst activated by UVA (ultraviolet) light. The UV bulbs are an essential component of your Pure Air system. The system requires four UV bulb changes per year for the highest possible performance.

Lennox recommends that you replace your filter every 12 months and replace the metal insert. In addition, do not wash your metal insert because it will destroy the titanium dioxide catalyst coating the insert surface.
