The Hydronix 30″ String Wound Water Filter is the same quality filter as the Liquatec SWF-25-3020 Filter. Also known as part number SWC-25-3020 or PP Filter, this cartridge is constructed from 100% polypropylene fiber cord media. It effectively reduces waterborne particles and contaminants like scale, sand, silt, dirt and sediment. This string filter can be used with municipal or well water.
Different wound patterns based on different micron ratings will ensure that you get the appropriate filter for your specific application. It is ideal for residential and commercial applications. The operating temperature capacity of this string filter ranges from 40 degrees to 165 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 degrees to 73.9 degrees Celsius). Do not use this filter with water that is of unknown quality or microbiologically unsafe without proper disinfection.
