The Hydronix SDC-45-2020 Sediment Filter is the same quality filter as the Liquatec SDF-45-2020 Sediment Filter. This 20 micron filter is made from 100% polypropylene and reduces waterborne contaminants like silt, rust, sediment and sand. The graded density of this water filter provides higher dirt holding capacity than standard spun polypropylene and string wound cartridges. Do not use water that is of unknown quality or microbiologically unsafe without adequate disinfection. The Hydronix Sediment Filter is ideal for commercial, residential, food service and industrial applications. Created with a coreless design, this filter is surfactant free, adhesive free and binder free.
Utilizing 4 separate layers of micron filtration, the outside-in flow allows the outer layer to trap the larger sized particles, resulting in a much lower pressure drop compared to conventional filters. This sediment filter, also known as part number SDC-45-2020 is an inexpensive solution to pre-filtration for reverse osmosis systems and post-filtration for granular activated carbon filters (also known as GAC filters). With a true multi-stage depth filtration, this water filter provides a higher particulate filtering capacity compared to standard spun polypropylene and string wound water filters.
