Description
The High Voltage Diode is an OEM part for GE microwaves. This high-voltage diode is crucial for converting alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC), enabling the magnetron to generate the microwave energy needed for cooking. Measuring approximately 3-1/2″ in length, this diode features a banded side with a #8 ring terminal and a non-banded side with a 1/4″ female quick should replace the diode-H.V assembly if it becomes faulty due to electrical issues, wear and tear, or physical damage. Continuous exposure to high voltage can cause the diode to deteriorate over time, leading to of a bad diode-H.V assembly include: The microwave not heating food A burning smell or unusual noises during operation The microwave shutting off unexpectedly Visible damage or burn marks on the diodeThis GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore part fixes the following symptomsNo heatWB27X10597 (AP3192533)replaces942851, AH239740, EA239740, PS239740, WB27T10552, WB27X10169, WB27X10434, WB27X10772, WB27X10817.
